I hope everyone made it through Topical Storm Fay OK. For me, Woody Boynton, Rick Leary, Quinn Romay and Mike Patterson it was an extremely busy week managing the issues related to Fay. She was slow to arrive and slow to leave. Than k to Vice President/Past President Skip for filling in for me at Tuesday’s Club meeting.

At the August 19 Board meeting many items were discussed and decided:

  • T.K Watson, nominee for the Presidential Youth Inaugural Conference in Washington, DC January 17-21, 2009 attended the Board meeting and presented her efforts to defray her costs for attending the Conference and Inauguration of the 44th President of the United States. We wish T.K. all the best and we look forward to hear from her after her attendance at the President’s Inauguration.
